Karen’s Angels is a nonprofit rooted in compassion, community, and the belief that no one should feel forgotten, especially during the holidays. We support families in need, children in foster care, and seniors by providing essential resources, holiday gifts, and meaningful moments of connection. What began as a simple family tradition has grown into something much more.

A Playground Made Possible by the Community

Karen’s Angels joined forces with the local community to raise $50,000 for a complete playground renovation at Pio Decimo of Tucson. This project brought together families, volunteers, and donors to create a space where kids can safely play, explore, and make lasting memories.

What started as a need turned into a celebration of what’s possible when we come together. The new playground stands as a joyful reminder of community, compassion, and the spirit of giving that drives our mission forward.

  • We are located in Tucson, Arizona. Be sure to check for frequent upcoming events to see when there is an even happening near you!

  • Yes! Karen’s Angels is a registered nonprofit, so your donation is tax-deductible.

  • Absolutely. We accept:
    • Hygiene products
    • New clothing and shoes
    • Furniture and household goods
    • New, unopened toys

    Please send us a message so we can organize a drop off.

  • There are several ways to get involved:


    • Help out at our annual golf tournament
    • Assist with shopping, wrapping, or delivering gifts during the holidays
    • Join us as a camp volunteer—crafting or hands-on experience stations are especially welcome!

  • Most volunteer roles are open to all ages. However, camp counselors must be at least 16 years old.

  • Yes! We’re working on adding a nomination form to the website. Once it’s live, we’ll also share it on our social media channels so you can help us spread the word.

  • The best way to stay in the loop is by following us on social media. We’re working on sharing updates more regularly, so stay tuned!
